Worker's Compensation: Things I Learned The Hard Way
Presenter: Fran Lefavour
This program focuses on how to manage workers' compensation costs and claims to reduce lost time, costs and provide the best customer service and medical care to your employees. The workers' compensation system has many moving parts and participants but ultimately only one payor - the employer.
Take aways will be:
- How to develop working relationships with your insurance carrier, the medical community and your employees when they are injured at work.
- What are the laws governing workers' compensation and what do you need to know to work effectively in the system.
- How to design an effective and productive light duty program.
- Little details I learned by making Big mistakes.
