    Renew Your SHRA Membership

    If you are a current member of SHRA, or if you were a member last year and would like to renew, please click here to renew your membership. Our Membership year runs from July 1 through June 30.

    The Seacoast Human Resources Association (SHRA) welcomes all Human Resources Professionals and those involved supporting the HR field to join our growing organization and enjoy all the benefits of membership.

    Our primary mission is to enhance the professional growth of our members by advancing the skills and competencies in the field of Human Resources through seminars, workshops, personal contacts and networking.

    SHRA Member Benefits

    Membership with SHRA is an investment in your career for many reasons. SHRA provides a forum for access to and exchange of information, promotes the development and application of proactive Human Resources concepts, and creates a better understanding for the general public of the importance and function of Human Resources roles.

    As a member of our SHRM affiliated chapter, you will be involved in a professional network that offers many benefits including:

    • Discounted cost and invitation to nine monthly meetings where dynamic leaders in the field of Human Resources provide current relevant information that will keep you up-to-date on a variety of topics. Meetings are held each month from September through June, excluding a May meeting due to the Granite State Human Resources Conference. Our monthly meetings are HRCI & SHRM approved!
    • Networking with a diverse and knowledgeable group of HR professionals.
    • Access to the “Members Only” section of our website which includes full member listing and contact information of our member Human Resource Professionals.
    • Access to SHRA Scholarships.
    • Representation for all employers in the Seacoast area through political and legislative advocacy.
    • Developing professional and leadership skills through participation on a SHRA committee. You can also earn re-certification credit hours for participation on our committees.

    Membership in SHRA is on an individual basis, not by company, and is not transferable to other individuals. The annual membership fees will be due by the first meeting date of September.

    The 6 categories of membership and associated annual fees are:

    Professional 1-Year Membership: $50 / 2-Year Membership: $90 

    Individuals actively engaged in the field of human resources or any faculty member teaching in the human resources discipline. Professional members have voting rights and may hold office in the chapter provided they are members of SHRM. The 2-year membership option will save you $10!

    Professional 1-Year Membership + Prepaid Monthly Program Fees: $250

    Fee includes annual membership fees and prepayment for all 9 monthly programs - a $275 value!

    Corporate 1-Year Membership: $150

    5 memberships for the price of 3! A corporate membership can be made up of any blend of individuals that fall into the Professional, Student, or Vendor membership levels within your organization.  

    Vendor 1-Year Membership: $50

    Individual(s) in employment with an organization that is a human resources service provider to our members. All vendor members MUST provide satisfactory proof of SHRM membership. Vendor members have voting rights and may hold office in the chapter. As a requirement of membership, all Vendor members must also hold a current membership with the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).

    Vendor 1-Year Membership + Prepaid Monthly Program Fees: $250

    Fee includes annual membership fees and prepayment for all 9 monthly programs - a $275 value!

    Student 1-Year Membership: $25

    Students actively pursuing a degree or concentration in human resources management. Student members do not have voting rights and may not hold office in the chapter.

    HR Members in Transition – Free

    Individuals who have been employed in the human resources profession but are currently unemployed or underemployed in another capacity while searching for an HR position. Members in Transition have voting rights and may hold office in the chapter provided they are members of SHRM.

    Monthly Meeting Fees
    • Members: $25
    • Non-Members: $45
    • Members in Transition: $15
    • Students: $15
    Guest Passes

    Each Member receives two Guest Passes per year. Guests need to register for the program and list the member whose guest they are in their registration form.

    How to Join

    To create your application for membership, please click here to fill out our membership application. Once your application is processed and approved by our Membership Committee, you will be notified of your membership classification (Professional, Associate, Student or Vendor), annual membership fees, and where to remit your payment. You will also be given your username and password for access to the Member Only area of our website.
