The Eastern Alliance Insurance N3L3® Safety Leadership Program is designed for business leaders, safety staff, and production supervisors to learn how they can influence their organization’s safety culture to produce better outcomes by preventing Fatal & Life Changing injuries (F&LC). N3L3—The Next Three Seconds, Protects Your Life, Your Loved Ones, Your Livelihood—is focused on reducing the likelihood that a fatal and life-changing event will occur by changing the way we think about and manage risks.
The “Safety Leadership Principles” segment of the program challenges the traditional view of safety. We will explore the idea that “safety” does not automatically equal the absence of injuries and how sustainable safety improvement cannot be achieved only by focusing our efforts on fixing employees.
About our presenter:
Jeff Perkins, CHST is a graduate of the Keene State College Occupational Safety & Health program who spent over ten years performing safety management both in the field and at a corporate level with an international Department of Defense contractor before joining the Eastern Alliance Insurance Group in 2019. He maintains professional certifications as a Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST), is a Six Sigma Green Belt, and previously held Lead Auditor roles within certified AS9100D, ISO 9001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 quality management systems.
