    Description:

In this interactive, hands-on session, participants will build their own secure AI assistant for their organization—live, during the session. Designed specifically for HR professionals, the workshop guides attendees step-by-step through the process of creating an AI that understands their company’s policies, answers employee questions, and protects sensitive data.

The session begins with a discussion of the hidden risks of unsecured AI tools in the workplace and how to safely adopt AI through compliant, custom-built solutions. Participants will then use CustomGPT, a no-code platform, to create their own AI HR assistant trained on real company materials (such as an employee handbook).

By the end of the session, every attendee will walk away with a fully functional prototype of an AI solution tailored to their organization—plus the knowledge to refine, govern, and safely expand its capabilities within HR.

    Learning objectives:

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

    1. Recognize the key risks of unsecured AI tools in HR functions, including data privacy, bias, and compliance exposure.
    2. Differentiate between public and secure AI solutions and explain how custom AI assistants can safely improve HR efficiency.
    3. Design and build a working prototype of a secure AI HR assistant using CustomGPT, tailored to their organization’s materials such as employee handbooks or policy documents.
    4. Develop an internal framework for responsible AI adoption, including policy guardrails, employee training, and data security considerations.

Evaluate how AI can support specific HR functions such as employee communications, recruiting, and analytics—while maintaining legal and ethical standards
