Program Description:
HR professionals make ethical decisions every day, often without a framework to guide them.
This 60-90 minute session, developed in conformance with SHRM recertification guidelines,
changes that. Participants work through Kohlberg's three levels of moral development, apply
five proven ethical reasoning frameworks to real HR scenarios, and analyze the Wells Fargo
case study through the lens of organizational moral culture. An AI ethics breakout bridges
foundational ethics to the emerging challenges of algorithmic hiring, employee surveillance, and
AI accountability. Participants leave with a structured decision-making process, a personal
action commitment, and 1.0 Professional Development Credit.
Dr. Greenwood’s unique training methodology ensures that each participant will leave with a
toolbox for a deeper understanding of how well they work with ethical challenges in their
everyday life. His unique foundational approach also includes an emphasis on the importance of
regulations and internal operational guidelines.
