Presenter Name: William Irvine
Company Name: Irvine Consulting Group
Total Rewards is more than compensation and benefits. In today’s work environment employees are seeking flexible work schedules, increased abilities to master new learnings and the autonomy to make a difference. In our multigenerational workforce, what is important to one generation may not be so important to another. By 2020, it is estimated that 50% of the workforce will consist of the Gen Ys and the last of the Baby Boomers will be beyond double nickels. Human Resource professionals are challenged to find that competitive mix of salary, benefits and work/life programs within the organization’s own cultural uniqueness in order to attract and retain a productive workforce and we are learning to value transparency when talking about it.
In this presentation you will learn:
- to define the concept of Total Rewards
- aligning various business considerations
- consider benchmarks when evaluating a total reward program
- to align statutory requirements with cultural considerations and organizational philosophies
- that communicating the program to the employee population by being open and transparent increases trust and success
