    Program Description:

    This program will cover the following topics:

    • How to recognize signs of mental health challenges
    • How to address concerns appropriately
    • Programs and resources that can support both staff and employers

    Learning objectives:

    Participants will learn:

    • An overview of common mental health conditions and related symptoms and how they may present in the workplace
    • Ways to best support an employee experiencing a mental health challenge

     

    About our Speaker: 

    Nicole Cico, LCMHC

    Nicole is a licensed mental health counselor in both NH and Massachusetts.  She has practiced primarily in the field of victim/survivor advocacy for the past 20 years.  Through this work she has supported adults, children and families with trauma and mental health-related needs.  In addition, she has trained community-based organizations around the dynamics of domestic violence, how trauma impacts children and adults, and substance use and mental health as it intersects with domestic violence.  She is currently the Client Services Director for HAVEN, a violence prevention organization on the Seacoast supporting survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking and human trafficking.
